I think the Canadian market is a bit higher priced than the US, for two reasons:
- Not as many cars available
- Porsche's price list was higher in Canada when these cars were new, again
probably because of the smaller market.

I also agree with everything above....and your comment re: Canadian pricing, but you forgot one thing: EVERYTHING in Canada costs more. Therefore, I don't think it is out of the question for such a car to fetch more money within Canada......although the pool of buyers certainly is shallower.
Interesting commentary on the color. Just yesterday I came across a low miles red 911 while looking for a friend. We both agreed that red isn't our first choice, but if the car we came across is as good in person as it is the photos we would make an exception for the color....and not discount the price becasue of it.
