Red, white, silver and black. It's not that there's a discount. It's that those color cars are the baseline. Interesting colors get a bump. To a certain point. A Sonderswunsch car in pink over lavender might be interesting, but might not fetch as much as the baseline colors.
I saw a Ruby SC with a Cork interior and thought it was a great combination. Minerva over Camel. Good combos that might fetch some extra money. But Red over black is the most common combo, and in order to not get downgreaded, the paint has to be all-original, and the interior has to be spotless.
