How to remove the dust boot on brembo brakes

How the hell do you get the dust boots off the 4 piston calipers? The first link here says "There's a little hole in the caliper so you can stick a small screw driver in there and pop it out." I see no hole in my caliper. I started to try and pry it out anyway but I'm almost certain I will tear the boot with the screwdriver if I continue.
I followed the video in the second link, but of course he does not have a dust boot. Now I've poped the piston out but the dust boot is still in there. There's no way to put the piston back in without removing the dust boot.
All I wanted to do is measure the piston so I could order parts, but now I'm stuck.
And by the way, I measure 39mm for the big piston, shouldn't it be 40mm?
(PS, I started a new thread, I didn't want to hijack Budowski's thread)
