Easy answer is we drive air-cooled cars.
Mine make power when temps are 40-65 degrees. Drive them hard at 80+ degrees, not as much.
There can be mechanical reasons, and for those we have very accomplished home and professional mechanics on this board.
I'm sure they will chime in.
