there is nothing wrong with wurth but you can buy the same products for less of you know were to look .
u-pol makes the chip guard for wurth .

if you don't care about weight then go with the chip guard . the person at the body shop should have told you about the SEM you were thinking of useing . it's a seam sealer not really a chip guard . SEM has 3 tips you could use to spray the product you could have just used the wrong one but the coverage area for that product is not that big . it's made for trunk areas to spray around the seams .

go with the sem two part chip guard . pro-tex # 39824 and there catalyst # 4067? you can top coat it with the rust-shield if you want toor any other top coat you want . you can also tint it if you would like .
we tend to use rust-shield for the insides of the race cars we build . the reason is you can get it in 100's of colors you can spray it over preped bare metal or primers and top coats .
we tend to go for light colors like very light grays when it's left up to us to pick the color . the reason it light colors you can see the gauges , switches and crap like that . also light colors are cooler on hot days than say black would be . gray , black and white go with any color of the out side of the car will be .
