Well you baited me in...... Yep, I must just have bad karma.
I grew up riding in then later driving air-cooled VW's. I really wanted to like the Audis and watercooled VW's but my experience with the high mileage 2.7t and my daughter's high mileage New Beetle have tainted me for life. I cannot comment on anything newer than 2000, but I hold a grudge as well as anyone can and I won't be spending "my" money on used high mileage Audis or watercooled VW's any time soon (same goes for Dodge).
Rant over.... carry on with the VW/Audi love fest.
