ATF in crankcase?
I heard somewhere that putting 1qt of ATF in your crankcase right before an oil change is a good idea...not too sure how I feel about it, BUT!, If anyone has any opinions on the matter that'd be great. The reason I'm asking is because i've got very light lifter noise. I'm about to hit the 3k mark and change the oil, and I hear that the ATF helps clean them out really well. Also, i don't know how I feel about the 20w50 oil that i've been using, thinking about changing up the viscosity. Any Suggestions? thanks
