Yes. Although I don't drain one quart of oil out first, just add the ATF. This is probably where some will disagree but I've never had a problem doing this.

Also, I was running 20W50 and switched to a lighter weight in addition to the Seafoam. Was enough to do the trick. Don't confuse a sticking lifter CLAKCLAKCLAKCLAK with the normal subtle tick these engine do when running. This is OK.
