I no longer or 'rarely' ride at night but when I did, had some dual beam halogen with a battery pack like above. Awesome fun for off-road night rides. High lumen but drained the battery pack in 2 1/2 hours or less. I forget the name but made in the early 1990's. Somewhere I have them buried / lost away but will try to dig them out and post. I'm sure the battery is toast after all these years.

I run them on strobe during the daylight hours.....
