That's the problem... "They" seem to conflict with each other and what they want and it varies from day to day.
The message used to be simple.
The "West" shouldn't interfere in the affairs of Middle Eastern (Islamic) countries.
Sounds reasonable but generally the Governments if Islamic countries have a long history of butchering their own civilians.
So what should we do? Sit back and let them or do something about it? The answer isn't simple any more.
