Hmmm, don't know what sort of response this note will receive, but--the British had an approach that actually seems to work. My girl's Austin Healey Sprite has the 10"X 9.5"X 3.5" heater box with the little radiator in it, and attached fan with cable flap, and it heats well. The MG's had a similar box in the same location, with a longer width, shorter height. Don't know about their performance though, never drove one in Winter.

There's actually a simplistic 'plumbing' fitting valve for shutting the heater cooler out of the usual coolant system, for Summertime.

But I promise, I like my 914 better, even without heat.
