This place is like the local watering hole and while there are times it provides some interesting tidbits the majority of the time it is really no different than an 8th grade locker room!
Had a great lunch last week with John Gaddis of Yale. He is a bit of a Cold War expert (Google him). I am going to help out one of his students this summer on a project dealing with fracking. He is interested because 1) he is from Texas 2) his long time buddy, Henry Kissinger is very interested in it.
I didn't even know Super Kraut was still kicking! He lives in Kent CT. Of all things I could have asked him about the man the only thing I was really interested in was "what does he eat?" I mean, the guy is tack sharp, pushing 90 and no end in sight. Gaddis told me "everything, he loves homemade sausage!" My relpy was 'So its really all about genetics huh?" Yup.
Dont let these morons get ya down - some have more money then taste, others more then sense and still others (like me) use the site to blow off steam or act obnoxious because we can get away with it here.
