Well he owns a dealership in MD and he built our boat (he's a former prof. boat racer) so he has this huge, expensive, race boat. Apparently he hit something going fast and ripped off the transom on a lower unit. He tried to beach it but, it took on water too fast. |
D'oh! That sucks. When I used to go fishing with my uncle on much smaller, slower boats we always slowed down for the areas with sunken trees. Unfortunately the best fishing spots had lots of them. I used to hang off the bow with the spotlight at night until we got into the main channel of the river. Those dang Asian carp would surprise you once in a while too.
