Isn't that funny that for so many years NASCAR had to run a mechanical fuel pump. I understand that it was a safety feature once electric fuel pumps were proven. Nowdays, the FI stock cars use electric FP's in the back that will automatically shut off in the event of a roll over. Seems that they should have some sort of shut off in the event of a major shunt as well.
But, I digress.
When do you light the candles on that beast?
