Thanks everyone!

I really like the white with the white Fuchs. With the tail and the burgundy interior I just couldn't pass up the name Shamu. Shamu is white and black with a tail and red on the inside so...

I have put probably 500 miles on the car so far. There is a big PCA trip to Steamboat in a few weeks so that will be its first long drive.

The car is still very original minus the radio and the addition of the tail. It came with sport seats and maybe the sport package although the option sticker just says C02. It has Bilsteins in the back and the Boge covers in the front but I'm not sure what is inside. It has been lowered to a bit below European height and the rear is about 3/8" too low. I'll get it raised to the correct European height as our roads don't support very low cars I've found out.

Nice photo Glen, I have a friend here with a white '86 coupe he races. Looks like you are having fun!

Steve, The only difficult part was getting the housing out with that additional stabilizer they install on the cabs. It was totally in the way and made getting the three air deflector nuts off difficult. Mine had never been out and the fan and housing was just awful. The fan shroud had a few cracks I cleaned and filled with JB Weld just to be safe. I ended up polishing it on a buffer wheel, but the powder coat examples I've seen in the posts look great too. Porsche should have done something like that - maybe in body color. I guess they just didn't foresee that we would be staring at other folks engines at a coffee and cars event

Speaking of that I hope that fuel pump gets here today. Our C&C is tomorrow

Franny
