Commuting over the hill for over 20 years now to work in SV. Met my wife in '86 who's a fourth Gen San Franciscan and stayed when I discharged from the Nav in '89.
For me the the quality of my life experiences and the environment that I've been able to raise my daughters in has been worth every penny of the expense.
