I don't know the story on that one, but I did the same thing many times in the same time frame, but none of the parents around where I grew up would have sat back and let us do it, we had to sneak to to it & generally, I was the one who would go through the biggest fire
One time even singed my polyester plaid pants (early 70s, they were cool then)
Somewhere, there is a box with pix a buddy took, when I find that box, you guys will have a even bigger laugh at me than usual.
