After the surgery they sent a home health care wound care nurse out every other day. A week ago Friday she didn't like way it looked and came out every day until I went to the doc Tuesday.

Ok. Well, that's good. I wish I lived near you. I would have helped you change that dressing every day and helped you with your mom's meds while I was at it. Hang in there, Richard. I know easier said than done.
