That simply is not true. Just the oposite is true, but the truth is not very popular with this movement.
People who die from smoking do so at a younger age than if they didn't smoke and end up costing LESS in total health care than if they didn't smoke.
Same goes with other gubmint social services like social security, medicare, pensions, etc.
They
SAVE society money by smoking and that doesn't even touch on all the BS taxes they have to pay on that tobacco.
I used to smoke but quit.
I quit because I wanted to, not because a bunch of bleeding heart liberal dweebs told me to.
