I wired up the fuel pump properly and put an aftermarket relay on it, in addition to cleaning up the factory connections, all hidden away fairly neatly too. The car starts and runs properly now although I think it could do with a tune-up re: the K-Jet mixture setting/s.
Also got all new tyres last week, and a great wheel alignment. Had to adjust the ride height up a little and make some more guard clearance under the front driver's side to fit the larger profile tyres in.

Also fitted the flat engine cover which I think looks really slick. Car is running like a dream ATM, but I'd like to do some more aesthetic jobs.
