It has to be asked; just why were the inspections "working?"
Was it that Saddam had a decade to insure inspectors wouldn't find anything? . . .was it the threat of force? . . a combination of those?
400,000 Iraqi children died in 5years due to malnutrition. Saddam let this happen so he could try to leverage away the sactions. So, yeah, it is time to stop all this madness.
