I have a haynes manual..."do this, do that, and it's done" DUHH!!! they make it look so easy, and don't give you the details or leave something out that might be a tad more difficult than they're describing.
example doorhandle removal: "remove this bolt , that bolt and take it out, installation is reversal" They should say "while re-connecting the linkage, try not to break it, because you'll need that wrench you threw through the window."
I was able to change my pwr steering rack (944) with info off the net. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE IT IN THERE!
-sounds like I have some other issues..he he.
A free haynes manual is a good manual, but buy the real one.
