Just seeing this, been off the grid for a few days, in NJ now and meeting up with Vinman tomorrow.

Scottsdale has a lot of places. I don't know PV very well. But there's K'Odonnell's on Northsight, right in front of Scottsdale Gun Club. There's a Twin Peaks a few parking lots over from there. I was told about a great bar in Old Town Scottsdale with a giant beer selection, but the name escapes me. There's the Handlebar Saloon around Shea and Scottsdale Rd. There's a Tilted Kilt at Scottsdale and Greenway (met Gogar there last time). Scottsdale would be great for me, but I can travel a little. I'll be back late Sunday.

Oh, and if you want to come as far north as Desert Ridge at 101 and Tatum, lots of bars there - Yard House, Wolfley's, Rock Bottom, Sand Bar (awesome cougar joint) and a few more.
