Ahh...who says that it sold for $32k? Does no one here know how eBay works? This is about the hundredth weird thread where a bunch of old guys whine about eBay, then you realise that nobody actually understands it.

I'll try to help.

When an item sells outside of the eBay listing during the auction, (whether the seller found it on eBay or not), and the item has bids on it, the seller has to cancel all bids before ending the listing. That is what happened here. Did no one notice that it shows zero bids? Ebay is a fantastic marketing and advertising source, in fact it now costs nothing to do what this guy did, which was to hit every person in the world looking for an early 911 plus get spammed on Porsche forums like this, all within hours.

I don't follow the day-to-day early 911 market, (because I've completely lost interest in the cars), but I'd guess that this is about a $130k car in today's market. So if you think that someone bought it for $32k, you've been duped. And no one was even trying to dupe you.
