its not about size, for me. i just want something effective for hunting grouse.
what attracts me to this gun is that it is a. light b. made of nickel (meaning it will be easy to clean and maintain and will last FOREVER) c. i can get it for CHEAP and it is NEW d. ammunition is readily available and almost identical to 12 ga ammunition e. less recoil
what detracts: a. it isn't a 12 gauge b. the ammunition has less BB count c. everyone is telling me that 20 gauges suck (i like to buck popular opinion, so this one may be an attraction)

I love my 20ga D, so I say go for it, just means you have to be a better shot.
Plus, it never hurts to have an abundance of spoons.
