Im planning on upgrading the rear diff on my 1986 325e to a 3.25 LSD, I found a decent priced one on eBay but it is from a 1984 e23(733 or 735 supposedly). Question, is the 1984 e23 diff the medium case or large case diff, or will it be direct bolt on to the e30( except for possibly changing the cover and the output shafts)?
