Yep...the amazing thing was the brakes seemed fine, no noise (not even the squeelers at any time leading up to this) until the hotel, and no pulsing or pulling. I guess the theory would be that the piston on the other side (that looked perfectly normal, with half wear) seized in the off position, and all braking action was done by other side...that is, until the piston almost fell out of the bore and sat on a slight angle making constant contact with the disc. The tequila is an essential part of any tool kit. What if you broke down in a remote area without pizza and beer? Cheers
