Considering Letting the '85 Targa Go...

Wondering what it may be worth. Here's the skinny:

1985 Meteor Grey 911 Targa. Metallic/Black leather 146K miles

Engine:
Stock 3.2, no modifications, stock exhaust. Leaks only a little, from my digging around it appears to be the Unholy Trinity. Runs strong, never been opened as far as I know. Uses about a quart of VR1 20w50 every 1200 miles or so.

Suspension/Wheels:
Lowered, ER Polybronze, new shocks, new tires, 16" Fuchs in great shape. Porsche crest center caps (actual colored crests, not painted, which I thought was pretty neat)

Interior:
Bone stock, just a new radio w/ iPod. Factory sport seats. No rips in leather, no cracks in dash, looks very good. Sliverknit carpet looks great. A/C not working, was disconnected years ago before I got it and I never saw a need for it here in the PacNW. All the plumbing for it is still intact. Fresh air and heat works fine, though I rarely need it. Has the auto climate control. All electrics working; wipers, defog, etc. The entire wire harness was replaced by PO a while back ($6000!). Non-smoker car it's entire life.

Body:
Paint nice and shiny, some small nicks and scratches here and there from normal use for an almost 30 year old car that gets driven. Targa top in great shape, no leaks. No dents, no rust. Underside of car is great. H4 headlight upgrade, along with Euro lenses. Have original parts as well.

Car spent it's whole life here in the NW, started in Seattle, then moved here to Portland when I bought it a few years ago. John Walker did most of the upkeep in Seattle, I have done a bit of work on it myself as well as Kurt over at Marque Motors...it has been maintained well. I have a huge stack of service records dating back to the early 90's and have the original window sticker.

Honestly, I really don't want to let it go, but life has a way of forcing you to think about making tough decisions...anyway, what do you guys think would be a reasonable price to ask? I'm under no illusions that it is priceless, but if I let it go, I want it to go to a good home. New owner would also receive all the parts I have as well as my Bentley manual. My first thought was to list it at $21K OBO...is that crazy?

Thanks for any feedback.

John
