A big part of the argument of the pro-war crowd is the "clean hands/ dirty hands" theory that basically disregards any contrary, inconsistent policies of ours in the past, (such as arming Iraq 15 years ago), which does have some legitimacy, (hope I haven't lost you here, read slooooowly),
