I have been thinking a lot about how to release the heat under the hood better w/o cutting anything visible from outside the car. My electric fan runs after i shut off for a few minutes, all the heat is forced out underneath and behind front wheels. Probably creates lift and heat is trapped up around intake.
Also might let water on top the motor. Maybe the Corvette scoop is more for looks and little to be gained otherwise. I just think it is not appropriate for a 928. I see those scoops on pick up trucks even. Old funky look to me. Anyway, here in the mid-west, heat is usually not much of a concern except in July and August.
