Wait, you like her? Does that mean she has the skills to do the job well and has the personality to fit well on the team? While I agree that you should interview more candidates to get the best person for the job, if the answer is yes, you should hire her, regardless if she's cute, perky, ugly, or fat. And as for your boss, it doesn't matter if he thinks she was cute or ugly, if she can do the job the best out of the candidates, she should get the job.
