Don't make any changes until that rear bumper is mocked up. I doubt that the wheel needs to come forward at all.
That's the optical illusion that I talked about, and it will probably go away with the bumper in place.
As for my 73, the story gets a little amusing now. I brought the car home, and have spent the last month out of town. If I had left it where it was I would be working on it almost every day
In any event, I sent it to Chris, my local guru, and he set the ride height, changed the tranny oil, and adjusted carbs etc. It runs like a scalded cat now. It is really strong up to 5k, and then all hell breaks loose.
The seats are installed but I have yet to install the interior. Water is leaking into the car all over the place so front and rear glass is coming back out. I will tackle that this week and have a couple of tricks up my sleeve. I'll post those as I go so that others can try them if they like.
