Yes, the NRA does seem to cause another set of problems when it tries to fix one. Still, I don't think anyone should be allowed to search vehicles just because they're on private property. It's one thing to search an employee's desk that belongs to the company, but people have a reasonable expectation of privacy in their vehicles and that goes double for when on private property and not a public road. My company has a policy that you can be terminated for having a firearm while conducting company business. Total BS, especially since it's legal and customary to carry in the car in AZ. But it's not like anyone from HR on the other side of the country is gonna see it.
