Some pretty incredible damage along the Bow and Elbow rivers. Many neighborhoods flooded and transportation and transit is shut down in many areas.
I left work early and stopped at the grocery store for a few things. I have never seen that many people in a Safeway store ever! They actually did a great job handling the crowd with every register open.
You wouldn't know there is a problem from where we are located but I have never seen the Bow run as high as it was today when I drove home.
It was interesting to read some of the negative comments on some of the news web pages today about how Alberta deserved what we are getting because apparently we are the worst polluters in the history of the world.
Nice thoughtful informed people we have living in this country...
