More and more places need to see ID when purchasing with a credit card. I hate that. Drives me nuts. No, I do not have 2 second of my life to waste. Buy gas at the pump, we shove the card in and pump away. If you go inside to buy gas with a cup of coffee, then you must show ID to make sure the card belongs to you. it doesn't make sense. Today, we had a great meal with my family. I was shock that the waiter wanted me to show him my ID just to make sure it was my credit card. The extra trouble of having to reach around to my fat ass to pull my wallet, get the card out just so he can have a look drives me nuts. I had my little one on my lap playing while yapping with my wife and all this had to stop because they wanted to see my ID. WTF, I am suppose to enjoy my meal and the people around me. I was pissed, and told my wife that we hold the tip. He was lucky because he was a good waiter. Is this happening around your neck of the woods?
