Vented or Cross-Drilled?
The stock 70-73 911 rotors are factory "vented" and your difference is in the AL "S" calipers & larger pads. Stock 70-73 911s came with vented rotors. I upgraded my 911T to the AL PMB Brembo "S" size front calipers on my 911T spindles. I do not get heat fade in the canyons even on hot days. Are you referring to "vented" "cross-drilled rotors"? I replaced my 73 rotors with stock vented rotors many years ago before the cross-drilled were commercially available at a reasonable cost. Sounds like you track/DE so the cross drilled rotors would be NIZE. My buddy's 70 has Carrera power brake conversion and that car can really "throw out the anchor" on a panic stop.
