Congrats to the Blackhawks. They earned it. The B's were playing hurt and tired and didn't have enough in the tank (or health) to play the level of hockey it takes to hoist the cup. When the Hawks scored the tying goal I actually shut the TV off (I know this was the borderline unpardonable sin but in my heart I already I knew the B's were done)
You could see how worn out Chara, Berg, Jagr, Marchand were. I went upstairs to check the local news online and saw the headline the Hawks won. I didn't expect the end to be that quick. Oh well.
Buck: I apologize for hurting your feeling by suggesting that we start a new thread for the 2013 Cup finals. I thought it odd that we kept the same thread thru 4 years of cups and figured we could do a new one each year. I didn't expect you to take it personal.
I'm sure many are happy that the Bruins lost because they smacked down their fav team in the playoffs. Enjoy yourselves now because the Bear will be back this fall.
