Engine Builder Advice

Hi all,
First time caller, long time...well you know. I'm in the process of starting a rebuild
of my 83 911 SC. Motor is out. This started as just fixing some leaks. But, since I have it out I might as well do what I think is needed. Engine has 136k miles. Ran strong with no smoking. All heade studs intact. Has Kloberschmidt Alusil cylinders.

Trying to get some input on what I should do with cylinders. I want to reuse them. Either leave them alone with pistons removed with cylinders, (no re-ringing), or remove and have them reconditioned after being checked, by someone familiar with Sunnen honing procedure for Alusil cylinders. Or have them plated with Nikasil? Thanks. Been obsessing about this for a week or so. Need to make a decision.
