I agree that sometimes Pelican "isn't what it used to be"...particularly here in OT, and PARF. It sometimes has a "nastiness" that I don't much care for despite the tons of great folks that post here. "A few rotten apples" can indeed ruin a whole batch. Having just read the backdate thread in Tech to which you refer, I've got a pretty good impression of which kind of apple you are
