It was a smaller artsy wealthy cloistered liberal town a decade ago, and still may be.
(-)Even waterfront, nice resteraunts, and wine valley can get boring after a while. The GG bridge and 101 traffic might become a huge detriment to your lifestyle if The Peninsula is on the daily commute list.
(+)Close-r to everything in the Bay Area than LA, and nature areas are close and abundant. You will be purchasing many many tires and brake pads
