I have one sold (pending payment) in the price range and for the simple fact that the blue book is at that point. Most people don't have 40K+ to throw at a 10+/- year old car and the banks will only finance to what the book states the value is.
That said, the engines are near bullet proof; no IMS bearing or other plagued issues with 996 engines. The Turbo engine is basically a 964 block with modern water cooled heads. At 76K miles mine runs great but I have taken great care of it. The only reason I'm selling is to move to a much newer version.
