Finished building the wheelset for my son's next bike. Campy Veloce 9 spd hubs, Mavic Open Pro rims, DT Swiss Competition butted spokes, 32H 2 cross front and 32H 3 cross rear. Since he weighs like 100 lb, these should be bullet-proof.

Came out nicely. I don't have dial indicators for the truing stand but the lateral runout is about business card thickness. The vertical is a bit larger. Rightly or wrongly, I focus more on lateral, as I figure the tire and road surface should make a couple business cards' thickness worth of out of roundness . . . irrelevant.

This is my fifth wheelset build. It gets easier and faster each time. I really enjoy building wheels.
