Personally I would avoid any bike with an EBB. Surly's horizontal drops can be a pain too (having to move the caliper for a tire change). The On One has sliding drops.....best SS solution in my opinion.

A coworker just got an On One 29er SS and he likes it a lot. My biggest hang up is that it only has one water bottle mount. (I'm picky about these things, for reasons I don't want to get into here) That being said, the GM of On One used to work with us and I could get a frame for next to nothing.
