-3 cam gear or different case?
I have a couple of candidate cases for a rebuild I'm doing for my 914. One case had a -2 and the other had a -3 cam gear. It looks like it's difficult to find aftermarket aluminum gears for these backlashes. I am putting a webcam in the new engine. What are my options? Is it OK to use the stock gear if it looks OK? Should I kill myself trying to find a case with a 0 gear? Anything else I'm missing? Thanks!
