Yup, thats the entrance road to Lockheed Martin of Deer Creek Canyon...
On the plates, the *only* place I get hassled is on-street metered parking in Denver by the extremely nasty parking enforcement kids. Lodo/Confluence park for example pretty much *guaranteed* to get a no license plate parking ticket. Other heavily parking-patrolled areas like Cherry Creek, South Pearl, same thing. $70!
So I avoid parking on the street in those areas... Public or private parking lots and no issues.
The police and state patrol could care less in my experience... I haven't had front plates on most of my vehicles for the majority of my 25 years in Colorado, and *once* during that entire time did an actual LEO say anything about it, and it was just a warning.
Also, since you don't seem to get photo radar tickets without a front plate, it probably evens out with the once a year or so I get hit with a front plate parking ticket...
