Try a new size 0 cam gear first. Bolt it up to your Webcam. Then, mock-up the case with the crankshaft, the camshaft and new bearing inserts. Bolt the case halves together and torque to spec. Finally, check to see if you can turn the crankshaft by hand with ease. If so, you are OK. If you feel any resistance or binding, have the stock cam gear clearanced for bolts instead of rivets and go with it.
