I do prefer the feel of the trigger on a FPB that is not manipulated by the trigger. I have never had one not go bang so I don't know how often they might misfire. I understand the timing can be an issue as well as not always being able to grip it properly causing a problem. I hate the triggers on the Ruger P90 series as well.
I wasn't saying one was better or worse, just that I
prefer one over the other. I don't have one as a carry gun so my life doesn't depend on it at the moment.
I haven't shot any of the Series 80s with the titanium nitride coating or one that had been gone over by a good smith.
