It is when you put a 20 dollar bill on the dashboard and tell the passenger that if he can reach out and grab it he can have it. After he agrees you drop the clutch mash the pedal and if all goes well he will be so buried in his seat he wont be able to reach out and grab the 20 dollar bill. As far as I know it was mostly used with old muscle cars.
