If you decide on the S2, you may also want to do some shopping for a 968. Newer version of the S2 with a little more power. I've noticed good S2's are staying in the 10k-15k range and that 968s have now dropped into the 17k-21k range. I think 968s are getting price pressure from 1997 and 1998 Boxters which are going for 30k.
