My euro '83 SC 930-10 is 9.8:1 and we only get 91 Octane in Az. I do run ACES IV booster but have had no issues in up to 110 degree ambient heat. Runs cool.
Had no problems with the 9.3:1 930-16 US spec '83 for 2 years in the same environment.
